About 6 months after I started my first comedy brand/business, People kept telling me that I’d “hit the ground running” — that our growth was like going “zero to sixty in three seconds.” That’s where Zero 2 Funny comes from: tenacious hard work and a love for what I do. I believe that when you know what you want and how to make it happen, the only thing left is to go do it. My old coach used to say, “If you’re going to do something right, do it with full effort at full speed.” He was most certainly talking about blitzing the quarterback — but I like to think it applies to comedy, too.
Because around here, we take the work seriously — but we have a hell of a lot of fun doing it.
Who is Collin Ruegg?
Collin Ruegg is an unpredictable mix of self-awareness and sarcasm — for better or worse. On stage, he serves a unique blend of observational humor and commentary, using self-deprecation and offbeat logic that might’ve landed him in a 1950s psych ward.
In late 2024, Collin started Wildcat Comedy Co., a Kentucky-based comedy brand that quickly grew into one of the region’s leading independent comedy clubs by the end of 2025. A year later, he evolved it into the national brand Zero2Funny. Collin has shared the stage with nationally touring comedians like Bailey Pope, Caleb Sinan, Geoff Tate, Larry Starks, Ronnie Jordan, and Zac Amico, and was a semifinalist in the 2025 Funniest Person in Cincinnati Contest. Collin was also recently selected as a top 40 comic in the World Series of Comedy — Atlanta.
Offstage, Collin also works as a producer, co-producing shows with City Winery, Comedy Junkies, Die Laughing Comedy, Don’t Tell Comedy, and Encore Comedy (Washington, D.C.), helping bring national comedy notoriety to new audiences. Through production, he works behind the scenes with legends such as Alex Thomas, Brian Hooks, George Wallace, Jay Anthony Brown, Myra J, Rodney Perry, and Tommy Davidson.
He also manages the Culture Therapy Comedy Tour, which launched in early 2026, continuing his mission to create innovative comedy experiences nationwide.
